In INAWAE GEKA, we work side by side with Du’Anyam - a social enterprise that aims to provide alternative employment to agriculture for pregnant women of Flores Island to design and produce woven crafts for home goods and accessories, thus reducing unsafe pregnancy behaviors. The color that dominates this collection is beige - which is the color of natural palmyra leaves used to weave the clutch bags available in this collection too - woven by the hands of mothers in Flores.
Sleek shift dress with flare panel at the bottom. The standing collar is made of digitally-printed poly-cotton fabric and topped with fuschia band. The tribal embroidery in the middle is surely the cherry on top of the dress.
